Yup, as stated in the title of this post, i would like to share a brief experience regarding my interview for critical course, which is pharmacy, (hehe tetiba speaking lol sgt) :P
Okay actually benda ni dah lama hehehe but only now baru aq brkesempatan nak share ngehngeh. Bukan ape last sem yg baru habis ni busy (busy lah sangaattt) and memang malas nk update blog haha. But alhamdulillah i managed to pull it thru this sem so yeahhh a big applause for me!! :D Tak sangka da habis 2 tahun asasi huhu *padahal kwn2 matriks dah degree da pon kikiki
Orait, lets just get started with our main agenda heh. So frankly speaking, actually i'm not a foundation in pharmacy student. But as usual, during ur last sem of asasi in iium, they will invite n offer for those who want to change to critical courses such as medicine, dentistry and pharmacy. Our batch is considered as lucky enough bcoz uia was very generous to allow students who obtained at least cgpa of 3.55 to apply for the pharmacy programme. Please take note that the easiest course to get is pharmacy bcoz if u have atleast cgpa of 3.55 in sha Allah u can get it but, for medic and dentistry u must have cgpa atleast 3.65 to be offered the interviews. ATTENTION: THIS MIGHT NOT BE THE SAME AS IN YOUR BATCH BECAUSE IT DEPENDS ON THE AVAILABLE QUOTA IN THAT PARTICULAR BATCH.
Ok so basically lps da dpt offer interview pharmacy tu, list of names pon keluarlah untuk beritahu mana venue korang beberapa hari before the interview day. Inteview tu dijalankan di cfsiium gambang sebab mmg budak asasi farmasi yg asal kat gambang kan. Jd kami yg students pj ni pon brtolaklah ke gambang dgn bas uia a day before the interview day. Excited lah jgk sebab tak pnah tengok kan uia gambang hikss :P So when we arrived at the main gate of cfsiiumgambang, mmg terpesona jugaklah cantik sgt kampus tu dgn bangunan barunya huhu Subhanallah :). Tp yg 'slack'nya fasiliti mcm public transport, gerai ke mmg sgt kurang la drpd uia pj hehe. Kesian jgk tengok students gambang cmne dorg bole survive kt situ huhu, tp ok je sbnrnye, bole fokus more on study hehe.
So kmi smpai lmbt la jugak dalam pkl 11 malam camtu kot. Ktorg tido kt mahallah biruni, cantik sangat mahallah situ huhu, bgai langit ngn bumi klau nk dibandingkan ngn pj hehe Alhamdulillah :)
The day of d iv, dalam jam 8pagi, ade briefing oleh professors and lecturers kulliyah of pharmacy iium kuantan. 10 orang semuanya, ade 5 venues, jadi stiap 2 lecturers akan interview and assess each student, individually. After the briefing, jam 9 pagi the interview started. Aq punye turn adalah masa morning session, Alhamdulillah dpt panels yg very2 kind and friendly :) kalau ade ape yang aq blur they will help to explain it to me hehe rse mcm mak ngn anak je hihik. Oh btw antara questions yg dorg tnye:
-our background
-what is pharmacy?
-why u want to be a pharmacist?
-what u know about kulliyyah of pharmacy such as the dean, year of establishment, departments etc.
-what are the pharmaceutical issues that are famous now in malaysia?
-what u will do if u end up unemployed?
-do u have any plan to get married during ur study?
Msty korang pelik kan kenapa ngn soalan last tu kan? (Like seriously??? Hahaha) Bukan ape dorang just nak bagi reminder n advice je if u want to get married, u must be smart in organising ur time bcoz pharmacy programme is very tough and hectic. So kne la fikir masak2 ye sblum nk kahwin tu hehehe. Ohh another one, iv tu in english ye but depends on panel gak klau dorg mix je bilingual bole je mix gak cakap malay or english.
Alhamdulillah sebab tak sangka aku berpeluang dapat interview utk program pharmacy ni. Brsyukur jgk sbb Allah prmudahkan jugak urusan interview aq.. In sha Allah klau memang ditakdirkan utk study pharmacy ni, i will do my best to be a competent pharmacist that can contribute to the ummah in sha Allah. #Prayforme #RX15 #iiumkuantan
